ABOUT

Rolanda is a passionate leader in Charlotte, NC. Born in Georgetown Guyana, her and her family moved to the United States (US) in December of 2001. Growing up as an immigrant in the US she learned early that hard work, a good foundation, and community would be essential to her success.

She graduated from Johnson C. Smith University with a double degree in biology and chemistry. At Johnson C. Smith, Rolanda served as Miss JCSU, captain of her tennis team, and helped in the implementation of an initiative that afforded Haitian students the opportunity to study at the university.

Upon leaving college, she taught high school science for five years. In her role as a teacher, she aimed to inspire, motivate, and transform students. She received the “Above and Beyond Teacher” award for her efforts. Post teaching she transitioned into non-profit leadership. She currently coaches a team of leaders eager to bring their visions to life.

For years, she has served as a source to those seeking inspiration, help, or advice. She has chosen to be more intentional about this space. She started writing about her passions, her thoughts, and testimonies. In true storytelling form she likes to share not just her stories but the stories and experiences of people she knows and meet.

This space was founded with a mission to give others a taste of what goes on in her my mind, share things she is learning, and connect with others. She realizes that she too goes through many seasons in her daily life. This will be a place where she share devotionals, poetry, art, and leadership tips.

Take some time to explore the blog, watch a video, engage in a challenge or read something interesting. She loves having the opportunity to share her passions and thoughts with you. Feel free to contact her if you'd like to collaborate on a project, book her for an event/speaking engagement, consult on a project or just simply grab some tea. Enjoy & Engage!!
